Investment focus

enso hydro GmbH invests in small to medium-sized (3-50 MW) hydroelectric power plants with licenses and authorizations already issued. Enso strives for majority interests, however, in case of bigger projects minority interests are possible In any case, adequate participation rights in the construction and the operation of the power plants must be secured.

enso focuses on investments in South East Europe (SEEC) including Turkey, Scandinavia and the Alpine Region. By the end of the investment period investments in SEEC including Turkey shall not exceed 70% of the total capital. Each single country’s shall not exceed 25% except for Turkey, where up to 35% may be invested. enso plans to invest in approx. 25 hydropower projects with a total installed capacity of 300 MW until 2016.

Our declared intention is to position ourselves in the niche segment of small-sized hydropower as leading investor with financing and energy know-how in the European energy sector.

Up to 100 million Euros shall be raised. Minimum investment for each limited partner is 1 million Euro. Please contact us for further information on the investment offer!
